Kevin Alter is a trusted Texas attorney with decades of experience guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most complex legal matters. Kevin graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. His areas of practice include probate, determination of heirship, inheritance law, elder law, LLC formation, estates, Special Needs Trusts, Qualified Income Trusts and all areas of estate planning. He also holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Rice University and a Bachelor’s Degree in both Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University. He is a certified Attorney Ad Litem for guardianship proceedings. Kevin brings a deep understanding of the legal system and a steady, compassionate presence to every case.
Having spent his entire career practicing in Texas, Kevin has developed strong relationships within the legal community and is well-acquainted with the state’s probate courts and judges. Outside the office, Kevin has always been committed to serving his community. He and his wife have volunteered for the past eight years at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, and he spent many years coaching Little League and serving as a Cubmaster while raising his family in Texas.
